The Ministry of Energy is actively searching for a driven and talented individual to become a valuable addition to our dynamic team for the posts of Refinery engineer, legal advisor, manager logistics marketing, assistant geophysicist, specialist mining, lng sector expert, specialist mineral processing value addition, manager admin, and manager hr. As a member of the Ministry of Energy, you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing energy policies, promoting sustainable practices, and ensuring the efficient utilization of energy resources.

1. Refinery engineer:

Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in petroleum refining sector.

Max Age : 35 years

2. Manager logistics marketing:

Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in marketing/supply chain/logistics.

Max Age : 35 years

3. Manager hr:

Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in Finance/Accounting, HR, Administration and Project Management.

Max Age : 35 years

4. Assistant geophysicist:

Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in petroleum exploration.

Max Age : 35 years

5. lng sector expert:

Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience with 5 years in LNG sector.

Max Age : 40 years

6. Senior legal advisor:

Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience with 5 years in Petroleum/Energy sector.

Max Age : 40 years

7. Junior legal advisor:

Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience with 3 years in Petroleum/Energy sector.

Max Age : 35 years

8. Specialist mining:

Minimum 20 years of post-qualification experience primarily in mineral exploration, planning, development, operations, extraction, mineral economics and mineral sector related frameworks (laws/ Acts, policy, regulatory and fiscal).

Max Age : 62 years

9. Specialist mineral processing value addition

Minimum 20 years of post-qualification experience primarily in mineral processing, industrial utilization, coal gasification, mineral economics and mineral sector related frameworks (laws/ Acts, policy, regulatory and fiscal).

Job Responsibilities

1. Policy Development: Conduct research, analysis, and provide recommendations to support the development of energy policies, regulations, and guidelines. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with national energy objectives and international best practices.

2. Technical Analysis: Evaluate data and technical reports related to exploration, production, refining, and distribution of petroleum resources. Assess the economic viability, environmental impact, and safety considerations of proposed projects.

3. Project Management: Oversee and coordinate projects related to petroleum exploration, production, infrastructure development, and capacity building initiatives. Monitor project progress, budget utilization, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

4. Regulatory Compliance: Develop and enforce regulations and standards to ensure safe and sustainable petroleum operations. Conduct inspections, audits, and investigations to monitor compliance with regulatory frameworks.

5. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with industry stakeholders, including petroleum companies, international organizations, and other government agencies. Foster partnerships and maintain effective communication channels to facilitate cooperation and coordination in the energy sector.

6. Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends, pricing mechanisms, and supply-demand dynamics in the petroleum sector. Provide recommendations to enhance market competitiveness and ensure consumer protection.
